Kansas Po'Folk SNAP Junk Food Crackdown Coming Soon

Proving that partisan hacks on both sides of the aisle want to impose their own set of dietary restrictions. What we notice about a recent food assistance crackdown move is that it helps to reinforce the idea that income and cash is equivalent to moral virtue and therefore poverty is a moral failing . . . Which might make sense for people who don't know how much hotties on adult "fan" sites are taking down.

Here's optimistic news that pretends that giving up M&Ms will bring back the American manufacturing base from Asia . . .  

"The United States Department of Agriculture approved Kansas’ food restriction waiver, Kelly announced, meaning Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program users will no longer be able to buy candy and soda with SNAP dollars. The approved waiver will go into effect Feb. 15, 2027. "
