The Chamber's CEO stated the credit lacks economic benefit and is part of a larger effort to remove underused tax incentives. The Friends of Cedar Crest Association is opposing the repeal, arguing the credit is crucial for attracting donations. A bill has been introduced to repeal the tax credit along with 20 others, though its final outcome is uncertain."
