A new report warns that Kansas City’s proposed mini-bottle ban could cost the city $130 million and eliminate more than 1,000 jobs.
Kansas City-based consulting firm Tripp Umbach released the assessment - titled Economic and Social Impacts of the Kansas City Small Bottle Sales Ordinance.
The report comes as the City’s Retail Alcohol Impact Area ordinance remains under review by the City Council.
