Kansas City Metro Gas Prices Spike Immediately After Iran Strikes

To start the work week our blog community calls out a serious consumer slap in the face at the outset of American military action.

KANSAS CITY INSIDERS REPORT GAS PRICES SPIKING LESS THAN 48 HOURS AFTER CONFLICT WITH IRAN!!!

Sure, there's a lot to worry about with nearly 20% of the global oil supply having to travel through the embattled Strait of Hormuz but we're talking about gas that is already in local pumps getting as much as 15 & 20 percent increases seemingly based on nothing more than news headlines.

Here's the word from a TOP KC ECHELON insider . . .

"Actually, this is a disgrace, the gas station down the street hiked their prices 30 cents on Sunday. That's more than 15%, it's like they don't think anybody will notice and sadly we can only look forward to more of this as time goes on . . . I've talked with the AG offices in both states about this issue over the years and price gouging rules only apply "during a state emergency" and right now we're not there . . . But it's very discouraging that so many trusted local chains and gas stations across the greater KC area have given us a very cynical look at the future."

And so . . .

AGREE OR DISAGREE ABOUT THE MERITS OF CONFLICT AGAINST IRAN, RIGHT NOW KANSAS CITY MUST COPE WITH A QUICK COST UPTICK AT THE GAS PUMP THAT ONLY LOOKS TO GET WORSE OVER TIME!!!

Moreover . . .

We all know that rising fuel costs trigger higher prices for food and everything else . . .
