"Kansas Citians can remove the invasive Callery pear tree, often called a Bradford pear, and get a free native tree in return.

"The Missouri Department of Conservation is partnering with others to host a buyback event on April 21 from 3-6 p.m.

"Pickup location in Kansas City is at the Anita B. Gorman Discovery Center, 4750 Troost Ave."
