Kansas City Gas Price Surge Undermines MAGA Vs. Iran Support???

Let's start with an inconvenient fact . . .

The MAGA fight against Iran is unpopular.

Consider . . .

Right-wing conservatives might be able to dispute polling and even MSM reports, but when some of the very same conservative pundits, talkers, economists and memesters who helped MAGA win the presidency have turned against him on the topic of military action . . . It's time to take their arguments seriously.

Megan Kelly, Tucker Carlson, Matt Walsh and to a much less important extent Alex Jones & Nick Fuentes are all now attacking the White House and gaining traction for their rhetoric.

But it hits deeper than that . . .

There's an empirical method to measure the progress of this crusade without respect to partisan hackery or rhetorical tricks . . .

And that's the benchmark that TKC wants to share . . .

Gas prices will make or break MAGA's "major combat operation" with Iran. If gas prices rise too high for too long, President Trump might as well hand the keys to the House & Senate to the Democratic Party ahead of midterms.

Voters are only as loyal as their wallets allow them to be at the start of a fight that began without much evidence of an existential threat and already seems to be escalating . . .

Again . . .

The most important part of this post and the angle that we're not seeing yet in KC is that REPUBLICANS ARE HAVING MAJOR DOUBTS ABOUT THE CONFLICT IN IRAN and that's news much bigger than TDS protest.

We won't back down on that and it's something we'd say to the face of the Prez, The Pope, The King or even my favorite box store checkout clerk.

Just to get the point across . . .

HIGHER GAS PRICES THAT RISK HYPER-INFLATION THREATEN TO DESTROY MAGA IF THE SPIKE LASTS FOR TOO LONG!!!

It's just political reality and a voter pocketbook issue that every President for the past 50 years has confronted.

This is why we think it's likely the Prez will quickly TACO lose interest and declare victory like he does with most of agenda . . . In this instance, his lack of commitment might be a saving grace for everyone else.

Corresponding with global markets, already, we notice prices continuing to rise across Kansas City and the latest statement from The Prez acknowledges the pain and attempts to offer hope . . .

President Trump said Sunday that increasing prices of oil are “a very small price to pay” for “safety and peace” amid the U.S. conflict with Iran.

“Short term oil prices, which will drop rapidly when the destruction of the Iran nuclear threat is over, is a very small price to pay for U.S.A., and World, Safety and Peace,” Trump said in a Sunday evening Truth Social post.
