"A Kansas City man will spend 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to shooting his brother in the head.
"Early the next morning, police said relatives contacted them and said they believed Jacob was responsible.
"Around the same time, law enforcement noted that the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s Office told investigators it had received a call from a family member.
"During that call, it was reported that someone could be heard in the background describing the incident as a 'Cain and Abel' situation, a biblical reference to one brother killing another. "
