"I flew in from spring training yesterday and experienced a long wait for economy parking blue bus and what finally arrived was a white Chevy van! There are apparently issues with the “zero emission” electric blue buses.
"KCI invested about 15 years ago in CNG (compressed natural gas) buses that are clean and reliable. If you search the internet for electric buses you see loads of issues about horrible reliability. In there obsession for a renewable energy airport it seems we have crappy electric buses. It is embarrassing to have a sh*tty passenger van show up! How will this crap perform when we are supposedly crushed with visitors for the World Cup and it can’t even handle a simple Wednesday afternoon?"

'Not a good idea': MCPS requests diesel school buses despite move to electric
Montgomery County Public Schools received sharp criticism for recently requesting purchase of almost 150 new diesel buses despite a plan to move toward an all-electric fleet. All new school bus purchases for MCPS were supposed to be for electric buses as of 2025, contrary to the request for diesel buses.
