Good intentions, campaign promises and a great deal of public frustration didn't matter amid a recent prosecution . . .

"Initially charged with second-degree murder in the shootings that killed Lisa Lopez-Galvan and injured 23 others. On Monday, SUSPECT pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful use of a weapon, and a Jackson County judge sentenced him to two years in prison, with credit for time served."
