Does Kansas City Mayor Q Have Support For Congressional Run?!?

Politically and historically, Kansas City Mayor is mostly a dead-end job. 

And so . . . 

We suspect the Mayor has some other tricks up his sleeve and is smartly keeping quiet about this move that might just be another head fake . . . Even if he commits. 

Still . . . 

Mayor Q seems slightly less popular than former Mayor K or Sly who weren't able to galvanize much support for any kind of political future. 

Nevertheless . . .  

This recent report is worth a closer look if only because it matches the mayor's traveling schedule with upcoming election deadlines . . . Here's the word:  

With just days left before candidates must officially enter the race, the Kansas City mayor is keeping his cards close, refusing to say whether he’ll run for the seat currently occupied by Rep. Mark Alford, Missouri’s 4th Congressional District seat.

What we do know is that Lucas plans to travel to Jefferson City next week the required step for candidates who intend to file.

“I have no decision yet – I understand there may be a lot of sources the only one who will make that decision ultimately is me,” Lucas said.
