
Not really . . . Especially when we're talking about paying back HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS worth of EPIC bonds for "entertainment" that was so boring that KCMO hasn't really missed it at all.
In fairness, here's the other side of the equation . . .
Both the Chiefs and the American Royal have secured funding from the Unified Government of Wyandotte County since late January. Both projects are near 118th and State Avenue, west of Kansas Speedway.
“To be perfectly honest Jonathan, the announcement from the Chiefs does noting but drive the interest up in the purchase of our bonds,” American Royal President & CEO Jackie McClaskey said in a Zoom interview with FOX4 Friday.

There was a show of support Friday from the American Royal, as the Chiefs and the nonprofit are set to become neighbors in the next decade.
