Who Should We Blame After Kansas City Funeral Mass Gunfire?!?

More reporting in the aftermath shows us that there were credible threats of violence ahead of the tragedy.

Of the dozens of reports out there . . . We thought the passage was the most poignant . . .  

Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) Sergeant Phil DiMartino said officers were working off duty for this funeral when at least one person shot from outside the church to the inside. 

“Officers in the gathering congregation took cover,” DiMartino said in an interview with reporters early Friday afternoon. “During that gunfire is when the injuries occurred.”

Sgt. DiMartino was visibly frustrated after the shooting.

“We don’t have to live like this. I find this absolutely unacceptable that people are grieving a family member, gunshots ring out, and they come into the church where you’re grieving a family member,” he said.
