Rock Island Bridge Stalls Again?!?

Too many promises and far too much hype seems to have drained all the excitement from this project. 

We were never certain that people wanted to party down by the river. 

Also . . . This town is awash in pricey party districts.

Check the latest round of excuses . . .  

"The complicated project has been delayed several times over several years, but developers say they're now waiting on paperwork before setting a concrete opening date.

"Much of the heavy lifting is finished at the Rock Island Bridge. The large buildings have been erected, electrical and signage installed."
