"SUSPECT, 32, faces the charge following the shooting at the healthcare Resort of Leawood near W. 143rd St. and Nall Ave. around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 10, court records show.
"Investigators indicate that the coworker returned fire. No residents were harmed or involved in the incident.
"SUSPECT fled the scene but was arrested nearby, according to Leawood Police. The other employee remained at the facility.
"SUSPECT appeared in Johnson County District Court on Wednesday. As of Thursday, Feb. 12, he remains jailed on a $750,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 18. "
