Kansas City World Cup Hopes Hinge On Short-Term Rental Profits

A close look at the fine print reveals that some locals expect to rake in about 20 GRAND from the international kick ball extravaganza. 

The numbers seem a bit fanciful but TKC doesn't want to stomp on anyone's dreams . . . No matter how unlikely.  

Accordingly . . .

Here's a peek at City Hall cutting back on fees along with supporter more cowtown mini-hotel-moguls:  

"Kansas City, Missouri's, Major Event Short-Term Rentals program — a $50 limited-term permit available for the summer. The standard annual fee is $200.

"The Major Event Short-Term Rentals permit is valid from May 3 through July 31, 2026, covering the maximum 90-day period allowed under city regulations during the declared Major Event timeframe."
