This cowtown doesn't have much influence over global events and so all of this blogging is above our pay grade even if it's more important than anything going on in KC this week . . .

What we know for certain . . .

- Keyboard warriors might be a bit more fired up today. 

- There might be a few gas station scares even if the U.S. produces much more oil than any country, EVAR.  

- Rather than bring up valid points about MAGA promises against war and U.S. interventionism, our progressive friends will be bullied by reactionaries who would rather fight about trans rights than costly wars without much real benefit for most Americans.

"The U.S. and Israel have launched strikes against Iran with the goal of toppling the regime, President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Saturday.

"Iran retaliated by launching missiles at Israel and a U.S. naval base in Bahrain. An Iranian official said all Israeli and U.S. interests in the region were now considered legitimate targets.

"The joint U.S.-Israeli attack on Iran comes after weeks of escalating tensions and a major U.S. military buildup in the region, as the U.S. and Iran tried to negotiate a deal to limit Iran's nuclear program. Trump said those efforts had failed."
