Kansas City Suspect Confronts Charges After Deadly Mass Shooting

Today we learn more deets about a tragic spate of gunfire and the suspect tracked down by way of his baseball cap that was sync'd with surveillance footage . . . Here's the roundup:

"Jackson County Prosecutor Melesa Johnson announced Feb. 17 that Dontae M. Brooks faces two counts of second-degree murder, four counts of armed criminal action, one count of first-degree assault, one count of second-degree assault, one count of unlawful use of a weapon, and one count of unlawful possession of a firearm.

"According to court records, Kansas City police responded to the Status Nightclub on Feb. 15 after reports of a shooting. Officers found two women shot. One was pronounced dead at the scene, the second died at a nearby hospital. A man was shot in the face and chest and taken to the hospital, where he is in stable condition. Another woman was shot in the leg and is recovering."
