Unfortunately . . .
This money is a drop in the bucket and anyone who knows even a little about local politics understands that appropriating the cash is merely another effort to shore up support for incumbents and political groups rather than help desperate people on the street.
Of course, in fairness, we'll share a more optimistic view . . .
