Kansas City Organizes Against ICE

Sorry, from our skeptical vantage . . .

Middle-Class white people looking to hassle federal law enforcement is more about politics than any legit concern about all the brown people getting the boot across the nation. The punchline: Tragically, it seems that martyring a couple of these folks is actually turning the tide against MAGA when it comes to independent voters who won't be burdened by a horrible candidate like former Veep Kamala Harris in the midterms.

"Johnson County-based Boots on the Ground Midwest has organized neighborhood groups, facilitated mutual aid and trained thousands of Kansas City-area residents how to legally observe and record federal immigration enforcement. Interest in their trainings spiked after the killing of Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis."
