Today's statement from Mayor Q likely added more fuel to the fire as conservatives decry attempted arson targeting what would have been a federal facility if not for political and protester push back.
To wit we share this question in the aftermath of the blaze that should send a chill up the spine of anyone who remembers nightmarish riots on the Country Club Plaza when Mayor Q joined protesters in yelling "No justice, no peace" before destruction from which the iconic entertainment district STILL hasn't recovered . . .
IS MAYOR Q TACITLY CONDONING POLITICALLY CHARGED VIOLENCE AHEAD OF WHAT WILL BE TUMULTUOUS MIDTERMS?!?!?
Again . . . Given the recent history of how the Plaza disaster played out, we think this is a fair question that should be debated by locals at their keyboards and NOT out in the street.
Here's the money line and the screen-cap . . ."I am outraged by federal efforts to place 10,000 human beings in cages inside distribution warehouses in Kansas City or anywhere in our country. I'll trust the courts, our local prosecutors, and law enforcement in Kansas City to handle the offender."
