Kansas City Double Shooting Kills Man & Woman On E. Armour Blvd

Gunfire claimed the lives of two local residents late this evening as authorities continue to investigate the scene and hope witnesses will help provide info.

Here is the report police are sharing with media . . .  

Homicide 1300 Block of E Armour Blvd.

Tonight right at 9:30pm officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of E. Armour Blvd on a sound of shots call.

Multiple callers reported the sound of gunfire from behind an apartment building there.

On arrival officers were directed to a parking lot in the back of an apartment building where they located a vehicle with two shooting victims (one adult female and one adult male) unresponsive inside. 

Officers called for EMS who declared both victims deceased at the scene. 

Homicide detectives are at the scene conducting their investigation along with crime scene investigators who are processing the scene for available evidence.

Detectives are hoping to speak with anyone with any information about what led up to the shooting or any suspects involved, as preliminary information is limited at this time.
