U.S. Attorney Ryan A. Kriegshauser issued a statement Friday saying he's "concerned" about incidents involving individuals threatening federal agents, or using their vehicles to aggressively "chase or interfere with federal agents engaged in their official duties."
Kriegshauser said his office supports and protects freedom of speech and the right to peacefully protest, but that those protests must be carried out in a responsible, legal manner.
"Interfering with federal agents who are carrying out their duties can be charged by our office, depending on the conduct," Kriesghauser wrote.
