Is It Time For Kansas City Chiefs To Get Rid Of Rashee Rice?!?

As always, the best place to start this conversation is that, of course, Rashee Rice is innocent until proven guilty.

Longtime Chiefs fans know that allegations aren't convictions and today's reporting is party of a messy court battle.

However . . . The game of football isn't as forgiving as our American justice system for players who miss the playoffs . . . 

Previously, we've noted so many football fans lament that the wide receiver simply isn't worth the trouble.  He dropped a great many clutch passes this year, his speed wasn't as impressive as coaches believed and his style of play doesn't seem to match word that the Chiefs are going to try to lean in to their running game to help injured Patrick Mahomes moving forward. 

And so . . . It's fair for longtime fans to ask . . .

GIVEN THE LATEST SCATHING ABUSE ALLEGATIONS, IS IT TIME FOR THE CHIEFS TO PART COMPANY WITH RASHEE RICE?!?

Rashee Rice's longtime partner and mother of his children has filed an explosive lawsuit against the NFL star, accusing him of choking, strangling, scratching, hitting, and headbutting her over a nightmare 19-month period.

Jones -- who has two children with Rice -- says she was also subject to "other violent and abusive behaviors," which included the Chiefs' wideout throwing things at her, "punching walls, and breaking furniture."

Jones claims the abuse caused "bleeding, swelling, bruising, and other pain and physical injury to her neck, face, mouth, arms, legs, chest, and shoulder."

To make matters worse, Dacoda says most of the abuse occurred while she was pregnant.
