Quick bit of #TBT local history that didn't fit anywhere else but deserves a look if only for the sake of worthwhile architectural salvage . . .
"Hale Cook Elementary School is over 100 years old. Currently out of date and not enough space to properly educate its students, the Kansas City Public Schools District (KCPS) is looking to completely renovate the school.
"The $12.5 million project would be paid through a $474 million KCPS bond."
