Dems Push EPIC Grassroots Demand For Legal Weed In Kansas

Consider . . .

There is nobody under 30-years-old who believes that prohibition against marijuana is a sustainable idea when so many Kansans simply drive across the state line to bring their supply back to their homes. 

Translation . . . So many of those middle-class McMansions in JoCo are JAM PACKED with allegedly "illegal" weed sold in Missouri with a hefty cut for state government. 

It's all a bad joke leveraged on hypocrisy and supported by only the most backward and myopic public officials who don't want local voters to know that cannabis is legal in 40 of 50 states for medical use and 24 states for recreational use. 

Nevertheless . . . 

We trust the Dems to destroy any good idea . . . 

And here's their latest effort in the Sunflower State . . . 

Kansas Democrats have introduced new bills to legalize medical and recreational marijuana.

The proposed legislation would earmark tax revenue for housing, child care and property tax relief.

Opposition from Senate leadership and law enforcement, citing crime concerns, remains a major obstacle.

Despite strong public support for legalization, lawmakers suggest the bills were introduced too late to pass this session.
