Arrest After Olathe Anti-ICE Walkout

Investigators took a teenager accused of aggravated battery into custody. The department said officers are still investigating the incident and working to identify other teenagers who were involved in the fight.

“The Olathe Police Department supports the community’s right to engage in peaceful protest and lawful assembly. We are committed to protecting those rights while also ensuring public safety. Violence, property damage, or threats to people will be addressed appropriately to protect the community,” the department said in a release.
