Winter Storm Warning: SnowZilla Slouches Toward Kansas City

Today there was the traditional mad dash for bread, milk and eggs if only because french toast somehow makes blizzards more bearable . . . In the meantime, weather panic dominated the local conversation at the expense of just about everything else . . . Here's a brief overview:
