Will Supremacy Clause Overrule Kansas City Anti-ICE Ordinance?!?

KCMO will likely fight the feds in court and follow the same path at Leavenworth in their push back against an ICE facility.

"It’s unclear whether such a moratorium would override the Constitution’s Supremacy Clause, which, as a general rule, grants federal laws supremacy over conflicting state or local laws. But if, as is typically the case, the federal government contracts with a private company to operate the facility, the moratorium could halt the project, or at least delay it."
