Prairie Village Spider Monkey Stays Winning

Check-it:

"Under the previous language discussed, monkeys more than 20lbs would no longer be allowed as private pets in residential areas. However, the revised language states monkeys will not be allowed in public unless in transport and the owner’s home is subject to inspection, with notice, should the city receive any formal complaints. Motivations include public safety concerns and consistency with neighboring cities . . . Reportedly a New World spider monkey, is the sole primate that would be affected by the new rules. City Council discussions in early December 2025 indicated they might make an exception for Oakley even if the broader ban is adopted, essentially grandfathering her in as a special case."
