Platte County Officially Gives Up On FAILED Zona Rosa

Expect more shut downs given systemic real estate troubles . . . Sadly, the Northland destination never really achieved anything close to a "golden age" and has seen endemic economic losses.

Now here's today's fallout . . .  

The county government previously won a lawsuit, which confirmed that it was not obligated to pay shortfalls in sales taxes used to repay bonds.  

“With today’s agreement, the county government will withdraw completely from public financing of Zona Rosa,” County Commissioner Joe Vanover said. “The bank, the developer and all parties agree that the county government did not default on the Zona Rosa bonds.”
