The Jan. 13 ruling in E.N. v. Kehoe allows Senate Bill 49, also known as the Missouri Save Adolescents from Experimentation (SAFE) Act, to remain in effect. The law took effect on Aug. 28, 2023.
Advocates call the decision “irrefutably wicked,” while state leaders hail it as protection for children.
