Kansas Suffers Budget Projection Shortfall Despite ONE BILLION BUCKS Collected

"The state collection was $1.07 billion — but that was over 5 percent below estimates and almost 5 percent short of December 2024.

"Shortfalls were noted in both individual income tax collections, which missed estimates by 7.6 percent and last year by almost 1 percent, and in corporate collections — which were almost 9 percent below projections and 19 percent short of the prior year."
