Kansas Considers Crypto Political Campaign Contribution Limits

Well-deserved attention to more funny money in politics across the nation . . . 

Kansas defines contributions as anything of value, and though campaigns rarely receive political donations of cryptocurrency, it is a growing trend nationwide. Cryptocurrency accounted for nearly half of all corporate money spent on election campaigns, according to CNBC.

"We have zero crypto campaign contribution laws in place today, so we're inviting some chaos and tyranny," Kansas Sen. Craig Bowser, R-Holton, told the Senate Federal and State Affairs Committee.
