Kansas City Winter-Proofs Pets

We linked this one in a recent compilation but these report is even nicer and offers a sweet way to start the day . . .

The Pet Resource Center of Kansas City partnered with eight organizations for the event, including KC Pet Project, Great Plains SPCA, The Rescue Project and Wayside Waifs.

“There are a lot of pet owners who love their pets but might need a little extra support taking care of them, especially in these cold winter months,” said Ashley Stanley, director of community education and outreach for Wayside Waifs. “Us being able to come together with all of these organizations to provide resources on such a big scale helps all of those owners just be able to make their pets’ lives a little bit better.”
