Kansas City Waldo Residents Mourn Woman Shot & Killed By ICE

Agree or disagree with political spin in the aftermath of a deadly altercation . . . It feels like a recent deadly shooting of a white lady in Minneapolis might be a turning point in the American conversation over mass deportations.

NOTICE LOCAL PROGRESSIVES MOURNING RENEE GOOD AFTER SHE WAS GUNNED DOWN AMID RUCKUS WITH ICE!!!

 Perspective . . .

We've notice from every angle of the American political conversation, it's pretty much impossible to have a rational conversation about policy when hyper-partisan operatives invoke martyrs . . . Which, tragically, is becoming all too common.

And so . . .

Memories of this departed resident dominate the local discourse amid discussion about ICE enforcement:

Former Kansas City, Missouri, neighbors spoke highly of Renee Nicole Good, the 37-year-old woman who was shot and killed by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer in Minneapolis on Wednesday . . .

Neighbors expressed they were sad when Good moved away about eight months ago. They described her as an "awesome" neighbor who was great with her kids.

Federal officials claimed the shooting of Good was an act of self-defense, but the city’s mayor described the incident as “reckless” and unnecessary.

Counterpoint . . .

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said a woman who was fatally shot Wednesday by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent in Minneapolis was "using a vehicle to try to kill an officer and his colleagues," noting all elected officials should denounce violent acts against law enforcement.

From the White House . . .

President Donald Trump defended the ICE agent and said the officer was “viciously” run over.

In a Truth Social post, he wrote: “It is hard to believe he is alive, but is now recovering in the hospital.”

Witnesses described seeing the woman trying to flee officers when she was shot, disputing the notion that she was trying to run them over.
