Like it or not, here's a sentiment we notice amongst a great many local faith communities . . .
Leaders at Kansas City’s Holmeswood Church held a community training event Jan. 19 to educate people about their rights during potential ICE visits. This Saturday, Jan. 31, Second Presbyterian Church in Brookside will host upwards of 600 additional community members as Boots on the Ground Midwest nonprofit leads community on how to, again, respond to ICE & ‘love our immigrant neighbors’.
