Kansas City Snowpocalypse '26 Open Thread

It hurts our soul just a bit to do this BUT there's no denying that the weather is the top story for today. 

Of course it's important and we want everyone to stay safe . . . But most of us know the routine by now: 

Drive slow, try to stay off the streets if possible and give everybody a lot of room and patience.

There's other angles to this story of course . . . 

This might be another big test for Mayor Q given that we don't expect a warm-up to solve the problem this week. 

But . . . We did get lucky that this happened on a weekend in order to avoid tougher traffic problems.

Accordingly . . . This is the thread where our readers can sound off as we compile the local snow stories that caught our attention . . .
