“Nobody seems to know what the Royals want,” said Patrick Tuohey, a senior fellow at the Show-Me Missouri Institute and a resident of Jackson County, Missouri.
“It takes four years to build one of these new stadiums or parks,” he added. “The teams are in Jackson County through 2031, and they are running out of time if they want to have a new stadium ready for that new season.”
