We wanted to share what is a great "think piece" about a local sport that attempts to sell to better customers. 

What this artsy mag forgets . . .

Kansas City pro-wrestling was once a plebeian affair mostly inhabited by scumbags who didn't have the cash to watch major-league sports in person. Less then a fiver once bought an afternoon of bad theater and muscle dudes breaking their backs to entertain the working-class. Only our oldest readers remember that patrons could also smoke during matches.

Now . . .

This missive offers a new path to relevance and presents pro-wrestling as camp and middle-class entertainment . . . Which is still more honest our elections and whatever is happening with the Chiefs.
