VACANT KANSAS CITY PARADE PARK HAS BEEN ON FIRE NINE TIMES SINCE THANKSGIVING!!!

Apropos for #TBT . . . This is kinda like that moment in the 1986 classic Ferris Bueller's Day Off when Principal Rooney calls Ms. Buller and attempts a feeble showdown.

Only this time around . . . It's even more pathetic because everybody is homeless and trying to stay warm.

Here's the damage . . .  

Firefighters were called to the two-story vacant structure about 2:45 a.m.

KCFD says fire did extend to an adjoining unit.

This was the ninth fire at Parade Park homes since Thanksgiving.

This was at least the ninth reported fire at Parade Park homes since Thanksgiving. It is slated for demolition later this month.
