Employees have been telling customers the store would close this month. They referred questions to corporate.
The corporate office directed me to customer service instead of media relations.
Customer service sent this statement today: “I’m sad to share our Madewell store off Nichols Road is closing permanently around the 20th of this month - our Leawood store in Town Center Plaza will still be available.”
