Jackson County Exec Slams Former Assessor's 'Frivolous' Lawsuit

Exec LeVota calls out the claim in no uncertain terms and seems to be betting that a Jackson County jury would agree with him . . . Here's the word and more reporting . . . 

“This is the most frivolous claim in my 30 years of practicing law,” LeVota said in a news conference.

LeVota said this “whistleblower” narrative is untrue and that Beatty had never once brought any misconduct allegations to her employer or the authorities.

He added in Wednesday’s news conference that if anyone should be accused of “misconduct,” it should be Beatty and the former county executive, Frank White, Jr.
