FOR THE MOST PART, KANSAS CITY IS HAPPY TO BE RID OF THE COSTLY AMERICAN ROYAL!!!
Sure, it stings that cowtown history won't be remembered . . . But in this economy there's really not a lot of money for nostalgia, even on #TBT.
And so . . . This report is worth a peek if only because it's one more instance wherein taxpayers in the Dotte might not get the payback they deserve . . . Check-it:
The original price for the project was $350 million. Now, it's $375 million, due to higher material costs and a longer timeline.
