Crackdown Starts Against Small Towns Dumping Homeless

In the age of mass digital surveillance . . . The tradition of shifting responsibilities onto neighbors will no longer pass.

Context . . . 

For years towns from Missouri & Kansas directed all of their homeless to downtown Kansas City. 

And now . . . 

We notice smaller towns moving their target . . . And so . . . Places like Joplin are pushing back.

This exchange is worth considering . . .  

The City claims the patients were promised a bed at a Joplin homeless shelter, and continuing medical care in Joplin, but says no bed or care was arranged beforehand, and the patients were stranded on the streets.

According to the petition, the first person was a Kansas City resident and the second one was from Butler.
