Conservative Cashill Contemplates Double-Edged Kansas City 'Pleasure' In Westport

Just to be clear . . . It's a photo essay but a work-safe missive regarding Western Civilization and not other "double-edged" antics that readers might not want to witness in polite company. 

Actually . . . 

We enjoy this perspective on KCMO which reminds us that we shouldn't take our delightfully smutty city for granted even if we share some of Mr. Cashill's concerns about the emptiness of immediate gratification.

"Europe is also a good example of a civilization on the brink of collapse. Caught up in the pleasure principle, its citizens are having nowhere near the number of children needed to sustain a culture. 

"The same holds true for Westport. Just about the only young couples I see holding hands are lesbians or pairs of indiscernible sex. The permutations in the latter category are myriad and their kinks incalculable. Local merchants strive to satisfy their various desires, but pleasure comes at a cost."
