TKC Must See: Jackson County's Megan Smith Shares Leggy Holiday Family Pix

A few things to start . . . 

We've got a lot to work to do in the upcoming year and we wanted to make sure everything covered before tonight's celebration. 

A recent social media share from Jackson County Legislator Megan Smith was sent our way earlier in the week and we weren't certain if the joyous celebration was newsworthy . . . However . . . We think it provides a great peek at a rising star elected official in a more "relaxed" setting. So why not?!?

For the record, we enjoy it when politicos share a more "authentic" side of themselves and family life shouldn't always be such a slog . . . Honestly, she seems happy and that's great!!! 

For locals wanting to know the backstory . . . 

Legislator Megan Smith is newly married and was formerly aligned with Exec Frank White. Her hubby played key role in the "Save The K" campaign and now insiders say she's first in line for a run at the Exec spot OR a place on KCMO city council in the open 5th District At-Large seat.
