"Missouri will join five other states in restricting what SNAP recipients can buy starting in 2026, after federal officials approved a new waiver aimed at removing unhealthy foods from the program.
"U.S. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins announced Wednesday that waivers submitted by Missouri, Hawaii, North Dakota, South Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee are moving forward under the Trump administration’s 'Make America Healthy Again' initiative."
