"The Consumers Council of Missouri, which advocates for residents forced to get their utilities from regulated monopolies in the state, filed a rehearing motion in the case and urged the Missouri Public Service Commission to reconsider its approval. If regulators don't, residents could pay $500 more annually in power bills to fund data center energy generation, according to the Council."
