TM Fieldhouse released a statement in regard to the shooting saying it is suspending adult basketball open play until further notice.
"The safety of our athletes, families, staff and guests remains our top priority," TM Fieldhouse said. "We are actively reviewing our safety policies and procedures to ensure we continue providing a secure environment for our community."
Police are asking anyone who knows anything about the shooting or has video to call the department at 816-969-1752.
