Reconnecting Westside Overlooks Rampant Kansas City Gentrification

The municipal fantasy in this low-budget effort is quaint but worth considering: Local politicos imagine they'll be able to to reverse a highway system in order to save little, old Latinas. That's sweet but it's too late. 

Reality Check: The Westside is now one of the most actives spots near the loop for real estate speculation and rampant home remodeling . . . The effort would actually just fund more developers. 

Luckily . . . 

The project is a remnant of the old Biden administration and it's only budgeted at a million bucks, which means that's not even enough money for a stop sign and the whole thing was mostly crafted to generate nice news stories and a few public meetings and news stories like this one . . . Check-it:
